unless they adopt a draft lottery, tanking will be fine as long as your owner doesn't fire you

I meant the player movement demands. The NFL doesn't seem to want to acknowledge tanking at all, much less do something about it.

I used to be against the idea of a draft lottery but we've now had two teams in the last three years actively and openly tanking. Maybe a true lottery where every team who fails to make the playoffs has equal odds isn't such a bad idea. Really make it playoffs or bust for teams across the league.

Tanking isn't nearly as beneficial in the NFL as it is in the NBA though.

It's not beneficial in the NBA either. The Pels just got the 2nd best prospect this decade and they didn't even tank.

And the Knicks did everything in their power to tank properly and still got nothing to show for it really.

Because of the lotto. I just meant one player to the worst NFL team even at QB isn't going to make as much of a difference as it would in the NBA.

Luck basically dragged the Colts to relevance for 5 years when he had absolutely nothing to help him, so it's possible.

It just screams being out of touch, because the NBA is unarguably the best sports league in the world, by far. NFL owners squash the NFLPA regularly.

Just because the NBA players run the league doesn't make it the best. The regular season doesn't mean anything.

It all depends what you root for. I'm not a huge fan of the owners squashing the player regularly either, but at the end of the day I'm rooting for piece of laundry. In the NBA you get more people rooting for individual players and not teams.

Tanking in the NFL doesn't work currently. You just get fired almost Every time and if you don't you have to get lucky that a QB is worth taking at 1, and then he has to not bust on a tank worth team.

It's a lot

Jalen Ramsey will either go to the Patriots, Raiders or Cowboys.

The Jags have apparently received offers including a first round pick plus additional picks/players, but they are holding firm at two first round picks.

I guess he has stated a preference for playing in Vegas so i guess the Raiders would be a possiblity. Pats arenít intersted and Dallas with a probable late first isnít all that attractive.

I'd be pretty wary of any player that states a preference to play in Vegas.

What could go wrong with Ramsey in Vegas.
