You Know You're Right maybe the only Nirvana song I enjoy. I really can't get with the rest of their stuff.

Man Who Sold the World cover > ****

Really that whole Unplugged album is pretty money stuff.

As far as grunge in general Stone Temple Pilots would be my favorite. It used to be Alice in Chains but thats a tad too depressing for me these days.

Their unplugged was pretty good. I don't care much for their music, but I recognize that Vedder is a pretty great vocal talent (one dimensional or not), and they're lyrically talented. I don't necessarily hate Pearl Jam, but the bands they inspired are the scourge of music.

AiC didn't survive time. It's not music that you can just listen to these days. Big fan of STP and some Soundgarden (definitely not all).

Nirvana's Unplugged is epic. The covers show Kurt's influences more than anything. In the Pines and Man Who Sold the World from that set are two of their best performances.

Love me a bit of Kwabs, dude can flat out sing!

And a newer artist over here, Rag n Bone Man, very good stuff, can't wait for an album to come out!

I have not given newer Pearl Jam much of a chance but what little I've heard sounds a lot better than the boring and indecipherable 4/4 drone of their 90s stuff.

went to a Mastodon/Converge concert and they stole the show, lead singer was in the crowd for most of it, was right after Mastodon released Crack the Skye and I hadn't listened to it much so I wanted Crystal Skull, Blood & Thunder, Aqua Dementia, etc. But they just played that whole album and then like 2 or 3 others
