All Time NBA Draft

Well I've pushed this on Twitter and sometimes in Discord/other places to Comahan, so let's give it a shot. No ground rules YET in terms of time period but I'll let the peeps decide. Era will be taken into consideration as will rules. So for instance, taking George Mikan might seem like it'd work because he was great in his era, he would get absolute throttled now or even in the 70s. Obviously guys like Big O, Wilt, Russell, etc. would carry over fine.

Those are the people I generally assume. Willing to do somewhere between 14-16 people if that works. I don't want this to take forever so a clock would work. And this would start Monday, as I'm not having it interfere with Owl weekend.

just make it shot clock era to eliminate the mikan problem, so 1955+

That works. Also note that you should take into consideration fit for the team, ie if you want to run up tempo/fast maybe Orlando Magic Shaq would be better than Laker Shaq.

Thats why I want to pick based on a 3 year window of the player, guys are equally effective during different points of their career when they are different players. Choosing a window is an easy way to distinguish which version of a player youre going to have rather than just saying "everyone is in their primes!"

Most all time great players have long primes where they evolve into different players, Jordan from 90-92 is remarkably different than Jordan from 96-98, but similarly effective, and I want to be able to distinguish that when we pick
